Why medicine? What is your story?I have been a registered nurse for 8 years. I have always wanted to be a doctor. I went to nursing school because I supported my husband while he went to law school. I continued to take classes required for med school while working full-time. It took several years to complete the pre-reqs because I had to take them one at a time. When I was 30 years old I was finally ready to apply. I was fortunate that I was also accepted in my first application cycle.read other replies on this topic
